Owner’s On-site Representative(s)

NEPS can provide an Owner/Operator with a site manager and/or a site commissioning representative and/or site commissioning discipline representatives. 

While the Owner/Operator Site Manager is generally responsible for both the construction and commissioning phases of the project, many times the Owner/Operator require one or more personnel with expertise in the commissioning activities be added to the Owner/Operator site team.

A single Owner/Operator site commissioning representative/manager would be responsible to ensure that the commissioning is undertaken in accordance with the project documents and in accordance with Prudent Industry Practice. While he/she will attend site project meetings and project documentation he/she will spend most of his assignment in the plant observing the actual commissioning activities. Should the Owner/Operator request on-site commissioning discipline representatives, they would report to the Owner/Operator site manager or the Owner/Operator site commissioning representative/manager, as appropriate. They would spend the majority of their assignment in the plant observing the actual commissioning activities.
