Initial Spare Parts Inventory Development

NEPS can develop a cost-effective definition of the required initial spare parts to be available upon Owner/Operator initial operation of the plant.

The inventory incorporates the vendor contract required and recommended spare parts, the impact on generation, e.g., frequency, duration and impact of the failure of the part, the lead time for the spare part, cost of the part, common spares. Provision is also included to factor in the Owner/Operator experienced based or other preferences.

This task requires copies of all plant equipment vendor recommended/contract required, e.g., LTSA, etc., spare parts lists and any contractor recommendations regarding spares.
